We’re here to give you the rundown on what makes this event special and what you should know about attending. Visit the Fremont Solstice Parade’s official page for more information.

What is the Fremont Solstice Parade?

The Fremont Solstice Parade is a community-based event featuring more than 60 ensembles, including giant puppets, stilt walkers, floats, dancers, cyclists, and musicians. The parade kicks off at 3rd and Leary Way, continues along 36th Street, and eventually finishes near the Seattle Art Cars display inside the Fremont Fair.

You can see a full map of the event here.

The magic of the Fremont Solstice Parade is created through months of preparation. Starting in April, planning meetings and public workshops are held at the Powerhouse. These sessions are open to the public, and everyone is welcome to contribute their ideas and creativity.
